To overnight in Banff National Park, a Wilderness Pass is mandatory and must be purchased prior to departure. If you are intending to stay in the Bryant Creek Shelter, a shelter fee is required in addition to the Wilderness Pass. Reservation fees are additional but not mandatory. Reservations for campgrounds and shelters are recommended in July and August.
