Hut Rate:                           $25.00 per person/night
Mount Shark Flight:        $150.00 per person one way
Canmore Flight:              $165.00 per person one way
Excess Baggage Fee:     $2.25 per pound/flight
Flying Gear Only:            $2.25 per pound/flight

 

Payment Terms

  • Reservations for the Hind Hut are MANDATORY.
  • Rates are in Canadian dollars.
  • Rates include taxes.
  • Mastercard and Visa accepted.
  • Full payment for helicopter flights and the huts is required to confirm booking.
  • Assiniboine Lodge does not send out receipts. Confirmation of your payment will appear on your monthly credit card statement.
  • Rates are subject to increase in tax implemented by the Provincial and/or Federal governments.

Helicopter Policy

  • Helicopter flights are restricted and advanced reservations are required to confirm your seat. 
  • There is limited availability to book outgoing flights at Assiniboine. Flights are available on a first-come, first-served bases.
  • Add $10.00 (additional BC taxes) to outgoing flights rate to flights booked at Assiniboine Lodge.
  • The luggage restriction is 40 pounds per person. Excess luggage will incur the excess baggage fee.
  • Helicopter flights for children under 2 years of age are free.
  • Assiniboine Lodge reserve the right to charge a helicopter fuel surcharge if fuel price increase.

Cancellation Policy

  • Fees for the Hind Hut are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
  • Fees for the Naiset Huts are not transferable to another date.
  • Helicopter flight are subject to a  $20.00 per person processing fee in the event of a cancellation.  
  • Helicopter flight cancelled less than 48 hours prior to departure are non-refundable.
  • Assiniboine Lodge is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to poor access conditions.

Cancelled Helicopter Flights due to Weather Conditions

  • Cancelled helicopter flights due to poor weather conditions is extremely rare.
  • Assiniboine Lodge is not responsible for consequences of cancelled helicopter flights.
  • There is no refund for the lost night of accomodation at Assiniboine for delayed incoming visitors.
  • Delayed outgoing visitors are not required to pay for the additional nights stay.
  • Assiniboine Lodge is not responsible for the additional cost of accomodation incured for delayed incoming visitors.
  • Assiniboine Lodge is not responsible for missed travel for delayed departing visitors.
  • When weather conditions allow, helicopter flights will resume the following day.
