What is the Huts Operational Season?

Winter 2016/2017:  December 28, 2016 to January 1, 2017 and February 10 to April 2, 2017

Summer 2017: June 23 to October 1, 2017

Services are provided for Naiset Hut users during the Assiniboine Lodge operating season or when there is a custodian at Assiniboine Lodge. Services include usage of the Wonder Lodge cooking shelter, flights to and from Assiniboine, flying gear, afternoon tea between 4:00-5:00pm, wine, beer and fire log purchase, and an emergency contact.

Outside of the operating seasons, there are no services provided for Hut Visitors. The Naiset Huts remain open but the Wonder Cooking Shelter is closed. Visitors are responsibile for bringing a cooking stove and fuel. There is no helicopter access.

In the summer, reservations are required to quarantee a space in the Naiset Huts and they are very often sold out. Space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis for visitors who do not have a reservation. Visitors who do not have a reservation should be prepared to camp. Reservations are mandatory for the Naiset Huts in the winter.

If you are visiting outside the Naiset Huts operational season, reservations are still required. Reservations and fire log arrangements can be made, in advance, through the Assiniboine Lodge reservation office.
