Payment and Cancellation Policy

  • Rates are in Canadian dollars.
  • Assiniboine Lodge accommodation are subject to 6.2% tax.
  • Helicopter rates are subject to 5% tax.
  • Rates for excess baggage and flying gear only include 5% tax.
  • Mastercard and Visa accepted.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

Payment Terms

  • Two night minimum stay is required.  All stays are based around the helicopter flight day, even if you are hiking/skiing in and/or out.
  • A waiver must be signed and mailed to the reservation office before a booking is confirmed.

Deposit Schedules

  • A deposit of $500.00/person is required to confirm booking . Deposit is due within two weeks of invoice date. Final payment is due 10 weeks prior to your trip date.
  • Full payment is due immediately upon receipt of invoice for bookings made 10 weeks prior to the trip date.
  • Full payment is due at the time of booking by credit card for booking made less than six weeks prior to departure.
  • If initial deposit is not received by the due date your reservation is not confirmed and the space will be resold.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy

  • A $200.00 per person cancellation processing fee will be charged for all cancellations.
  • The full amount is non-refundable if cancelled less than 10 weeks prior to trip departure. If the space is resold, the deposit and final payment will be refunded less the $200.00 per person cancellation processing fee.
  • Cancellations made less than ten weeks prior to departure and before the final payment is received are subject to payment of the outstanding balance. If the space is resold, the balance will be refunded less the $200.00 per person cancellation processing fee.
  • Dates are non-transferable.
  • No refunds for trips already in progress.
  • Assiniboine Lodge is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to park closures, poor access conditions, airline flight cancellations, poor roads, trail access restriction or weather.
  • These policies apply to all cancellations including those arising from park closures, trail conditions or restrictions, road conditions, weather conditions, airline flight cancellations, illness, etc.
  • We strongly advise that you have cancellation and medical insurance.

Helicopter Cancellations Policy

  • Full refund for cancellations made 10 weeks prior to trip departure.
  • For cancellations made 10 weeks to 48 hours prior to departure:  a $50 per person cancellaton fee applies.
  • No refunds for cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to departure.
Cancelled Helicopter Flights due to Weather Conditions
  • Cancelled helicopter flights due to poor weather conditions are extremely rare.
  • Assiniboine Lodge is not responsible for costs incurred due to cancelled helicopter flights.
  • There is no refund for the lost night of accommodation at Assiniboine.
  • Visitors delayed at Assiniboine are not required to pay for the additional nights stay.
  • When weather conditions allow, helicopter flights will resume.
