The Renner family was successful in securing the bid from BC parks. I’ve been at Assiniboine every summer since I was nine years old and I am excited to be in this beautiful place for another twenty years. I do know that I will never beat Erling Stroms record of fifty summers spent in Assiniboine Park, but it will be close. I will definitely be called a fossil by then!
