I just spent 4 days at Assiniboine Lodge in the Rocky Mtns, and had a great time. It was a new experience for me to sleep in a comfortable bed and have excellent meals while staying in a remote mountain location in the winter, instead of the usual stays in alpine huts.

I thoroughly enjoyed being pampered by the lodge's experienced and friendly staff, and the sauna and shower were a special treat!
