We have seen about 40cms of snow in the last 48 hours along with high winds. This is sitting on top of the March 20th rain crust. The trail in over Assiniboine Pass has not been skied this week. Avalanche forecasts should be consulted before skiing in. We recommend checking Banff National Park on the Avalanche Canada website, and the following their advice.
