We had 15 cms of snow Thursday night followed by another 30 cms Friday night with more expected throughout the day today. Before that we saw very warm temps with intense solar heat on Wednesday and rain throughout the day on Thursday. People last skied out on Friday March 28th.

The Banff/ Kootenay Park avalanche bulletin should be checked at avalanche.ca. Please follow the bulletins travel advice. A portion of the Assiniboine Pass route is exposed to avalanches with the start zones in the alpine.
